Joseph J. Wroblewski, 79, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012.

Joseph was born August 6, 1932, in South Bend, Indiana to John and Frances (Leda) Wroblewski. He retired from the Petersen Graphics Group on February 1, 1995, after 40 years of service.

On November 15, 1957, Joseph married Karen E. Weddle. Surviving with his wife Karen of 54 years are daughters, Fran (Scott) Shroyer of South Bend, Indiana, Julie (William) Tourtillotte of South Bend, Indiana, Diane (Craig) Lee of Overland Park, Kansas; sons, Eric Wroblewski of South Bend, Indiana, Kurt (Patti) Wroblewski of Mishawaka, Indiana; grandchildren, Darcy, Tina & Cory Craft, Haley Shroyer, Samuel, Estelle, Henry, Adam & Benjamin Wroblewski, Calvin & Carter Lee; great grandchildren, Xakari Champer, Maksym Clark; and a sister, Mary Ann Szobocsan of Granger, Indiana.

Sisters, Victoria Rozek Brown, Rose Rozycki, and brothers, Ted, Clement, Henry, and Sylvester Wroblewski all preceded him in death.

Joseph was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion Post #357, and the V.F.W. Post #3194.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012, in Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or the Center for Hospice Care.
