Elizabeth (Etta) Goodman, 86, of New Carlisle, Indiana passed away at Miller's Merry Manor on January 23, 2017. Etta was born to the late Marcellas and Louise Marie (Pottier) Ordway on May 10, 1930, in Austin, Oklahoma. On February 15, 1948, she married James C. Goodman, who preceded her in death on May 26, 2014. Etta is survived by four daughters, Sherrie (Keith) Beringer of North Liberty, Debbie Miller, Brenda (Rich) Rodriguez and Bonnie (Jeff) Steele, all of New Carlisle. Etta is also survived by her sister, Margie Eaves; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Jerry Goodman (son), Shirley Goodman (daughter), Jeffery Harville (grandson), Brent Rosenfeld (grandson), Kaleigh Beringer (great-granddaughter), Bruce Stoner (son-in-law) and James Miller (son-in-law). Etta was a homemaker for her family. She loved the Lord and loved to worship Him. She also loved to take care of her rose garden, sew, embroider, and roller skate. A memorial service will be held for Etta on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at The Hudson Lake Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m EST, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Etta's honor to Harbor Light Hospice, 1608 E. Day Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Online condolences may be left at www.kaniewski.com.

We are so sorry to here of your mom's passing she was such a nice lady she a up there with your dad in god's arms. saying a prayer to all of her family. travis really loved playing the piano for her at millers manor god bless you all.
