Carolyn was a cousin to both Marilyn and I. Marilyn on her mother's side, and I on her father's. Marilyn was much closer to Carolyn than I because they grew up together. She was maid of honor at our wedding. Although I was not as close, she always greeted me with her wonderful smile and made me feel so comfortable, as did everyone in her family.

Carolyn and I continued to exchange Christmas cards even after Marilyn' s passing, but this year I did not receive a card Now I understand, as I just became aware of her passing today. I am so sad for all of her remaining family as I am sure that they will miss her so much, but I am so happy for her family in heaven because they have all been waiting so long to be with her. I know that she and Marilyn must be sharing wonderful memories. Carolyn will be in my daily prayers.

I was so sad to hear of Carol's passing. She was one of the sweetest women I have known. Working with her, she was always so helpful, kind and understanding. Carol will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
