Mary was always so nice to us when we visited. I remember that last great dinner in the Italian restaurant when it took us 4 great hours of conversation to finish it.

It was so nice knowing Mary. She was a beautiful person and a wonderful addition to the Berrien Towne Quilters. She will be sorely missed. No more pain for her.

My deepest sympathy to all the family. Mary was one of the sweetest of friends. Such an elegant and genteel lady. She will be greatly missed by all of us at the Berrien Towne & Country Quilters.

Even with our great sadness, there is joy in knowing she is at peace with her Lord.
My deepest sympathy to the family, I can only imagine your grief at this loss. Mary was a 'quilting' friend and neighbor and you could not find a more elegant or gentle person. She is greatly missed.

Dear Jim and Family,
Working closely with Mary in the early days of Illinois Quilters and again in Michigan through Berrien Towne and Country Quilters as guild librarians has been a long and deep pleasure. Mary's grace and kindness is a model for us all. Mary's courage over the past difficult years was remarkable; her support through my own illness brought us even closer in spirit. Words cannot express my profound sadness and sense of loss. My heart goes out to you, Jim, and to her family. May you find some peace and comfort in knowing how well she was loved.

We were blessed to have Mary as a friend and neighbor in Evanaton. Recall that she grocery shopped weekly for my sister who had 3 kids under 3. Her gentle spirit enriched us.

Dear Jim and family,
I am so very sorry. There is much I admired, having Mary as my neighbor; her kindness, strength, talent and genuine zest for life. She instilled those same qualities in her family, who I've had the honor of getting to know. These are memories I will hold dear. A special hug for you Jim.

Dear Sullivan Family,

Please know my heart is with you. I have many fond memories of your mom/wife. She was a steady hand and calm voice for me during the chaotic years of high school. I learned many lessons from her that I have tried to incorporate in my life.

with much love and regard,
